Symantec launches online store for India

Symantec Corp, announced a new online store for India
specifically designed for the needs of local customers. Customers can now simply
and easily download localized versions of Symantec's Internet security
software solutions, including Norton Internet Security, Norton AntiVirus, Norton
Personal Firewall and Norton SystemWorks. Through the online store, customers
can access round-the-clock online purchase and support services. Renewal of
subscriptions can also be made online. All this can be done just by visiting
http://sa.symantecstore.com and selecting the Indian Rupee tab.

"With the new online store we are providing customers with
a simple and easy way to purchase the latest Norton products and upgrades to
ensure a safe and secure Internet experience," said Annette Martis, Sales
Manager, Symantec Consumer and Small Business Solutions. "We are delighted
with the response that we have been receiving from consumers in India. Already
over one thousand registrations have been made through the new store," she
added.

Symantec operates 23 online consumer stores all over the world,
including the Americas, Europe, Middle East, South Africa, and Asia Pacific. All
of the sites are multilingual and allow customers to purchase Symantec products
in multiple local currencies.
