Symantec announced its vision for protecting customers from the next
generation of threats targeting their information and interactions. The concept,
coined as Security
2.0, brings together an eco system of products, services and partnerships to
help customers remain confident in today's connected world.
Security 2.0 broadens Symantec focus to deliver next-generation security
solutions that address online interactions and the need for faster access to
information.
Speaking on this Mark Bregman, CTO, Symantec said, “Protecting customers,
information and interactions in this environment requires more sophisticated
security processes and technologies. Symantec's mission is to deliver solutions
that protect customers connected experiences and increase their confidence in

Outlining the role of Symantec's India center of innovation in Security 2.0,
Anil Chakravarthy, VP-India Technical Operation, Symantec said, “The India

the strong security domain expertise it posses. These will be leveraged
significantly in developing the next generation products and services to deliver
the Security 2.0 vision.”
