T-Mobile launches Handspring Treo 270

T-Mobile Inc announced the immediate availability of the Handspring Treo 270
color handheld communicator directly from T-Mobile and its network of authorized
dealers.

Treo
270 delivers on T-Mobile’s ‘Get More’ service by integrating a dual-band
world phone with a Palm OS PDA that features wireless applications such as
e-mail, text messaging and full-color HTML Internet browsing. These features are
delivered in a compact clamshell device that makes phone calls, tapping the user
interface and typing e-mails effortless.

The Treo 270 is available through T-Mobile for $399.99 after a $100 rebate
with activation of qualified voice or data plans. Customers can transfer
personal information from a Palm OS PDA to the Treo 270 easily.
