Trade Association of Information Technology (TAIT) recently arranged the
Diwali mela 2007 at the at SRPF grounds in Goregaon. Chetan Shah, General
Secretary, TAIT and CEO, Xpress Computer said, "The TAIT Diwali mela 2007
is the biggest and highly event for the Mumbai IT community. This event features
great entertainment, food and drinks, games, gifts, lucky draws, dance and much
more. This event was attended by over 1,300 people including TAIT members, their
families and other invited dignitaries from the IT community."
Shah further said that this event is the perfect opportunity for the channel
to interact and unwind from their routine worries. It is also the perfect time
to meet up with distributors
and principals in a lighter mood. The event is an effort by TAIT to bring all
its members and their families together.
Vibrant Diwali mela by CMDA
Computer and Media Dealers Association (CMDA), Pune also organized its
Diwali mela, which was attended by around 400 people from the channel community.
Naresh Lalwani, Secretary, CMDA said, "Diwali mela is an opportunity for
our channel partners to come together and enjoy with their families. Channel
partners know each other very well but they do not know their families, so this
event provides an excellent opportunity to bring them together."
Lalwani further said that various events arranged at the mela included
jugglery show, dance competition and magical show. Gifts were also distributed
to the partners.
