Mumbai’s trade association TAIT organizes a Diwali get-together for its
member every year and this year it was held at Fantasy Land on the 26th of
October. The event was sponsored by Samsung India.
The Diwali party, which was organized for the sixth continuous year, saw a 85
percent attendence by TAIT members. "Over 889 members attended with their
families," informs C Kadwarkar, Secretary, TAIT.
The event had several entertainment options with amusement rides, music, a
mouth-watering spread of food and drinks and music that kept everyone rocking
late into the night. Kids had a great time getting their hair braided, faces
painted, and made a beeline to get their sketches painted by a portraist. The
fortune teller and his parrot were also kept busy by people curious to know what
the year ahead held in store for them.

is one time when he can mingle with his peers without the pressure of margins
and sales dangling over his head. He felt that this year’s celebration were
well organized with something for every member of the family.
