The enviable tournament became a Festival of IT Fraternity

IT Association, TAIT (Trade Association of Information Technology) Conducted TAIT-SAVEX IT Cricket Cup 2023  on Sunday  21st May 2023.

Cricket, often referred to as the Gentleman's Game, proved true to its name during the TAIT-SAVEX Cup. Nine dedicated teams vied passionately for the highly coveted IT Cup in India. Despite the excitement, pressure to win, and the desire to perform, the atmosphere resembled a festive celebration. It was a joyous affair with networking opportunities among members, brands, vendors, the channel community, and their families. They gathered at the lush green Sportobuddy Sports Arena to relish the thrill of day and night cricket.

Excitement was seen all around the IT fraternity, in Mumbai and across.

The tournament was declared open by a customary pooja. Shri Jayant Goradia, SAVEX MD, also visited this tournament. He addressed all the players and advised them to play with the highest spirit and put in 100%.

This tournament’s kit is Sponsored by LAPCARE. Whereas power over was by Sound Solutions. All the Decisive TOSS were sponsored by IMCC, whereas 4’s and Wickets were Called Fileago Four/Wicket.  Reputed Software Company Protegent Sponsored 6’s and Catches. Gifts to all winners were Sponsored by ARTIS.

In a closely fought tournament, Nine teams participated in the most coveted TAIT-SAVEX IT Cricket Cup, which was divided into three groups of three teams in each group.

After a hard-fought battle, TAIT-SAVEX IT Cricket Cup was won by TSS Twinkle Thunders, whereas SAVEX Strikers Remained Runners-Up for the tournament.

Nilesh Shah from Dell Miracle Tech was honored as the Player of the Tournament for his remarkable performances. The team received an award for their outstanding overall performance. SAVEX Strikers' Sagar Shirke was recognized as the Best Batsman, while Sandesh Borade from TSS Twinkle was adjudged as the tournament's Best Bowler.

TAIT once again made extensive arrangements this year for Cricketers, spectators, and others, providing Refreshments, Dinners, and exciting attractions. Live webcasts of all matches were available on YouTube for passionate fans unable to attend in person but eager to watch their beloved teams in action.

A team led by TAIT Gen.Secretary Mr.Parag Shah, including Swetal Dani (TAIT Director), Hiren Sheth (TAIT Director) Murtuaza Bharamal  (TAIT Director), and Mr.Rahul Zaveri (Apex Enterprises), Kunal Gandhi(Syscon Systems), Nishant Mehta (Megaman Infosys), Samir Mehta (Computer Corner) made this tournament a grand success.
