To improve ‘service-communication’ between IT vendors and people in the
trade, Trade Association of Information Technology (TAIT) has planned to launch
an all-India IT Industry Service Centers Directory. TAIT is currently in the
process of gathering information required for compiling the directory.
The directory will carry addresses, telephone numbers, email and web site
addresses in alphabetical order. It will also carry some of TAIT’s
recommendation for introducing schemes, reimbursement policies and a standard
warranty guideline. Provisions are being made to carry advertisements as well.
The directory will be sold at a nominal charge which is not decided yet.
However, all TAIT members will get one copy of this directory for free.
