Tally rolls out 'TallyShop Campaign'

Tally solutions is conducting a nationwide roadshow branded as 'The

TallyShop Campaign' across 63 cities in an effort to enable easy access to VAT

compliance and implementation solutions. Tally will be tying up with various

computer technology showrooms, handpicked from among its channel partners mainly

due to



their physical visibility, which will be re-branded as TallyShops for a
short-term.

Mobile kiosks branded as TallyShops and placed in central business districts

will also support the roadshow. Over 600 sales outlets in all will be branded as

TallyShops throughout the country where visitors will be able to make

on-the-spot bookings for their copies of Tally 7.2 by paying a nominal amount.

These bookings will then be fulfilled over the next few days including

installation of the software at the customer´s offices.

To facilitate widespread availability of Tally 7.2 among the eight million SMEs with a 23,000 strong reseller base

Tally Solutions MD, Bharat Goenka said, "Our extensive media and

education campaign over the last three months has generated a tremendous wave of

interest in our solution - Tally 7.2, and not just as a tool for becoming VAT

compliant, but more as a complete business accounting solution." Now, the

need of the hour is to facilitate widespread availability of Tally 7.2 among the

eight million SMEs in India. "We hope that the TallyShops will go a long

way in catalyzing this interest into tangible action, over and above the efforts

being put in by our 23,000 strong reseller base in India," added he.

The TallyShop campaign is also coinciding with the Tally Mela campaign

running in 10 cities across India during the same time period. Visitors who are

looking for a more elaborate presentation on VAT, Service Tax and TDS and how

Tally 7.2 presents an accounting compliance solution for the same, will be

directed to attend the Tally Melas.
