Following the growth trend, New Delhi-based Targus Technologies has been
consistent in achieving its revenue target, and has achieved a turnover of Rs
120 crore in 2007-08, crossing the previous year's revenue of Rs 88 crore. It is
now gearing up to accelerate the growth rate at 36 percent to touch Rs 200 crore
by 2008-09. To strengthen its reach in the upcountry market, Targus opened its
first HP Authorised Service Center in Ambala last fiscal. Having set-up its
branch offices in various corners of the country, Targus is now opening a branch
office in Bengaluru by mid-2009.
Targus is executing its plans to open a branch office in Singapore, which is
likely to be operational by the end of 2008 and aims to enhance its growth rate.
From the previous year's employee breadth of 240, it increased its headcount to
320 in 2007-08 and this addition comprised mostly of sales and technical people.
Amidst business achievements of 2007-08, Targus became a Premier Business
Partner of Cisco.
