Treating recession as an important factor in the slow progress graph, the
target set by the company for the next year is Rs 125 crore. Targus Technologies
was recognized by Cisco for the significant sales contribution in North during
FY'09. It was also awarded as the highest service sales partner in North and was
appointed as the Data Center Partner by HP. Last year Targus focused on getting
into certifications with HP. It also got select manpower specialized in advance
routing and switching and wireless solution of Cisco.

The company executed an order worth Rs 3.5 crore from DIAL for HP storage and
services. It also bagged an order of Rs 4 crore for HP Procurve networking.

Targus established new tie-ups with Sun, Systimax, Tyco and VMware.
Throughout the year, the company's focus has been on services business, project
management and networking line. The next target of the company is to become a
Silver Partner of Cisco. The company already has a strong presence in the
domestic market and has got branches spread across the country, including Delhi,
Gurgaon, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Noida and Pune. Plans to open a branch
office in Singapore are in the pipeline with the company looking ahead to
explore the global market as well.
