TBWA\Anthem\Interactive launches myEasyShop

TBWA\Anthem\Interactive, the interactive media division of advertising agency

Anthem has ventured into the e-business space with the launch of myEasyShop.

MyEasyShop is a Web-based e-commerce solution that will allow customers to set

up their online store in as little as four days.

Says Manosh Markos, GM, Interactive, "This is an effort to tap the

online activity that is happening today and it is on because of utility and not

hype." The product is totally online and gives the customer total control

of the content of Web site.

Priced at Rs 3.5 lakh, the product comes with free hosting space of one GB

for the first year and two-year support pack.

To see the product reaches the upcountry markets too the company has embarked

on a channel development exercise. Says Markos, "We will sell only through

the channel." Markos however expects the partners to have an understanding

of the Internet as a medium and the geography of operation.

While the company does not have a fix on the number of partners it will

appoint in the first phase ending May.
