New Delhi-based
enterprise solutions company, Team Computers, is now the national distributor
for Sweden's business intelligence software development company QlikTech. For
promoting this brand initially, Team would formulate a direct marketing approach
for at least two quarters. “To start with we will primarily take QlikTech's
flagship product QlikView to our existing base of 500 enterprise and mid-sized
customers. Selling of customizable business intelligence products or CRM
software a detailed study of the client's work processes is mandatory,” said
Ranjan Chopra, Chairman and CEO of Team Computers.
Before actually
delegating the distribution work to its partners, Team will impart adequate
training on the product to ensure that they are capable enough to execute an
implementation. QlikView will ideal for those enterprise and mid-size companies
who have to deal with huge databases. It represents data pictorially and does
data mining in addition to providing an option of predictive analysis, which
will help businesses to work upon strategies for future in advance. The
QlikView's business intelligence solution is piracy protected and costs
upwards of Rs 5 lakh up to Rs 30 lakh, depending on the number of licenses
bought.

Divulging about the scope for QlikTech products in India
Ranjan said, “The QlikView BI solutions carries the USP of being one fourth
the price of normal business intelligence solution available in the market,
which is feasible for price conscious SMB Indian customers. Moreover with QlikÂView
enterprises could manage their huge databases quite effortlessly as QlikView
provides the option of memory based data storage in primary memory (RAM), which
greatly does away with the tedious and time consuming data sorting
procedures.” Team hopes to churn business worth Rs 5 crore from this
partnership within the first year itself. Meanwhile to disseminate more awareÂness
on the QlikTech solutions, it plans to conduct regular CIO and partner meets in
various cities.
