Tech Pacific to strengthen EMC's India presence

Mumbai: EMC Corporation announced the appointment of Tech Pacific India (an Ingram Micro group company) as its national distributor. Tech Pacific's appointment will help EMC increase its national presence and forge mutually beneficial long term partnerships among value added resellers (VARs) across the country. EMC will leverage Tech Pacific's extensive reseller network to introduce its full range of information infrastructure solutions to the market.

As EMC looks towards doubling its partner base to 200 by 2009 end, the appointment of Tech Pacific is a crucial strategic step, especially for tier-2 cities. VARs also have the option of aligning their business with a distributor of choice and including EMC's products in their technology offerings.
