After the
challenges faced by the industry in 2010, the Indian IT industry was
poised for a promising 2011. Accel Frontline epitomized the trend.
Accel Frontline posted a consolidated revenue of `91.7 crore for the
quarter ended December 31, 2010, a raise of 36% over the
corresponding previous period. Q4 was a case of sterling performance,
with a revenue growth of 99%. Accel's y-o-y growth is 45.76% while
the industry's average growth is just entering double figure. The
growth in consolidated revenue was mainly due to new businesses from
new geographies.
Telecom and banking
verticals contributed substantially to Accel's business in FY11.
Accel Frontline has been focusing on IT service business since its
inception and during the last fiscal. Accel established a global
managed service operations center for providing remote infrastructure
management services. In 2010, Accel was acknowledged as one of the
top 10 global tier-2 outsourcing service providers by the Black Book
of Outsourcing. Accel has a matured IMS practice capable of providing
full spectrum ITSM covering the entire IT value chain and has over
200 managed services customers. Many of them are Accel customers for
more than 5 years. Accel has an enviable track record for customer
retention in the managed services space.
