Commitment towards the
deliverable and sticking to the promised deadline were the two major
reasons for the growth of Hyderabad based Tera Software. A veteran in
government-related projects, Tera witnessed a growth of 20% in the
past financial year. To execute the project properly, Tera Software
appointed a new CEO. One of the major milestones during the last
fiscal was being one of the SIs in the Central Government's Unique
Identification (UID or Aadhar) project.

Through this project, Tera
Software, with its presence in 16 states across the nation has
attained the opportunity of preparing the database for nearly 8 crore
Indians which is nearly 7.5% of the total population. The biggest
challenge faced during the last financial year was to win the factors
which are not in the hands of
any company while working with government-related projects.

Apart from that, another
big challenge for Tera was completing the project within the given
deadline. Even though the political scenario is bad in Andhra, it did
not affect the working of Tera by any means. However, beating the
odds, today, Tera Software has Rs 800 crore-worth projects in their
hand. Even though Tera has already registered its presence in 16
states, having presence in each and every state is their ultimate
vision.
