With a growth of
76% from `153 crore in FY10 to `270 crore in FY11, Value Point
Systems aims to achieve revenue of `500 crore in 2013. It changed the
strategy towards different markets and technology and went into
internal restructuring FY11 had some crucial changes in terms of one
person trying to reach out to most of the customers, the company
decided to have one person for each account. The focus on automated
services helped the company to boost the SI portfolio. Large turnkey
projects and big SI engagements continues to be the key growth
accelerators.
The company's
presence is dominated in southern India and generates most of the
business from Bengaluru. Majority of the revenue comes from Client
Computing and offering technology solutions which amounts to 42% of
the revenue. In the last 1 year, it also started focusing on managed
print services among other managed services, though it has only 15-20
customers. The company is expecting high on SaaS offering for the SMB
market as well as on infrastructure management solutions. The
company's partnership with Kaseya for IM solutions offer services
to customers in all 3 models-licensing, on-demand, and
services-started well. Recently, it tied with Click View for
business intelligence engagements. The company also bagged couple of
bids in public sectors companies and also a service contract in the
government sector to provide services in more than 900 locations.
