Following a feasibility study on its PC brand launch, Trifin Technologies has shelved the idea. "We decided to drop the initiative as there were lots of gaps in the vendor projections," said Trifin Technologies MD, Ashish
Aggarwal.
Meanwhile, the company is moving ahead with its expansion plans and strengthening its reach to resellers and partners. "We are opening offices across India to render solutions to our SMB, mid-market and enterprise customers in the area of infrastructure, security and storage segments," said Ashish.
Trifin recently opened marketing offices in Jaipur, Chandigarh, Bangalore and Chennai employing 150 people. Ashish is also considering boosting its 20-people Delhi team. "We will be adding 10 more people in our Delhi office," he said. The company is re-organizing its structure to allot key markets to various teams. "Strengthening Trifin´s direct presence in newer markets and territories has been the company´s objective in FY05," stated
Ashish.
It has also automated its processes and deployed ERP for better work efficiency. "We are consolidating all our operations to a central office for efficient coordination and should be through with it by March 2005," informed he.
With a 30% year-on-year growth to its credit, Trifin is boosting its product portfolio to include customer experience enhancing products in the areas of multimedia, security and storage solutions. Ashish promises a number of announcements to the effect in February. It will enter strategic partnerships with a number of vendors across the globe to offer advanced solutions to customers and strengthen its channel business directly in key markets.
