Two Indian channel partners win Symantec 2010 Asia Pacific and Japan Partner Awards

its 2010 Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) Partner Awards at the inaugural

Partner Engage 2010 Conference in Sanya, China. Wipro
received the Symantec APJ Partner Innovation Award and Jainam
Technologies was declared the APJ Security Partner of the Year.
Jainam Technologies was recognized for achieving a high number of
Symantec security accreditations and displaying a consistent
performance across the complete Symantec security portfolio. Wipro
received the award for successfully demonstrating the value
proposition of the Symantec storage portfolio to enterprises across
large and mid-market segments.

The Symantec Partner Awards recognize
channel partners that have demonstrated innovative delivery of
services and solutions to customers during the past year and
acknowledge their dedication and commitment to selling Symantec's
security, availability and systems management solutions. The award
winners are selected on criteria such as overall performance in
revenue, deal registration, technical and marketing investments,
customer service excellence and certification.

The inaugural APJ Symantec Partner
Engage 2010 Conference was held in Sanya, China from April 26-28. The
event brought together approximately 150 senior executives from
Symantec's partner community to hear about industry trends, market
opportunities, and Symantec's vision and strategy through keynotes,
and business and regional breakout sessions. The event is also a
platform for partners to network and exchange ideas with their peers
in the industry.
