Umax unveils USB 2.0 scanner

Umax Data Systems has launched Astra 4700, the first of its type USB 2.0
scanner in India. This scanner comes with the automated three button scanning
system. Umax Astra 4700 has optical resolution of 1200 dpi and 48-bit color
capability. The scanner is bundled with software that helps configure and edit
any image simply and brilliantly.

The three multi-functional push buttons allow to perform scan/copy/e-mail
jobs with just one touch. This scanner comes with a free USB 2.0 card. The
scanner is priced at Rs 11,950.
