Delhi-based UserEase Software is looking at expanding its reach and going
beyond the Delhi market for its ERP solution for garment exporters. Called GEMS,
the products in its latest avatar is the work of three years of development. The
company however had developed its first DOS-based package for the garment
exporters way back in 1982.
Working with over 200 exporters in and around Delhi, the company is now
looking at appointing channel partners. "There is an immense potential to
be tapped," says Sudhir Arora, Director, UserEase Software. While the
company is looking at, at least one partner per state by the middle of next
year, it will focus primarily on Maharashtra and Southern India. "These
states have a lot of action happening in garment export," adds Sudhir.
The company officials are currently busy addressing responses gathered from
their recent participation in Gartex. "It is time to expand also because we
cannot address more than ten to twelve new clients every year," says Sudhir.
The company also has a few solutions deployed overseas and has a presence
through its partners in the US, UK and Canada. "We will also aggressively
build our presence in Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka now," informs he.
To ensure that the software meets the needs of its target audience, it is
made flexible enough to integrate virtually any database at the backend. It has
over a thousand-report format, over 500 entry forms and over 350 relational
entities. Interestingly training on the product is a part of the curriculum at
the NIFT, New Delhi.
