What is your most memorable moment?

When I got the approval from Sumathy's parents for our wedding.

Most embarrassing moment?

This is about 20 years back, when I and two of my friends went to a hotel which is 60 km away from Bengaluru on a picnic. We had spent all our money, and we realized this only after we finished eating. We were Rs 15 short of the actual bill and none of us had credit cards. We explained the situation to the waiter, and he said, "Don't worry you are not an exception. I have seen many like you. Pay us next time." We drove back to Bengaluru non-stop, with not even a single rupee in our pocket.

Where do you see yourself 5 years down the line?

In the next 5 years, Webcom Information Technology would have gone public, with branches across the country and abroad.

When I was studying in my final year, 25 years back, I along with 3 more friends pooled all our pocket money, hired a taxi and went to Sarjapur Road to buy land for starting a factory. After that, next week we went to Hesaraghatta to buy one farm house. We had pooled in money only for taxi and lunch. However, all of us wanted to become entrepreneurs immediately after our college. Today 3 out of 4 are running our own companies. I own a farm house too.
