VCMDWA to felicitate Nagpur cop

The Vidarbha Computer Manufacturers and Dealers Welfare Association (VCMDWA)

has planned to felicitate Yashasvi Yadav, Superintendent of Police from the

Nagpur Police division, who busted the scandal involving online

trading of young girls. Yadav has been awarded the International Police Award

for cracking this case.

Prashant Ugemuge, President, VCMDWA said, "We have decided to organize a

function along with Nagpur Police, where we will felicitate Yadav for his work

in cracking the scandal. VCMDWA has been working closely with the

Nagpur police in assisting them in solving cyber crimes."


The exact date of the function and the list of invitees is yet to be decided

on. However, according to Ugemuge, it would be somewhere in this month, during

the winter assembly session of Maharashtra government.

In the General Body Meeting of VCMDWA held on November 3rd, the dates for

their annual CompEx were also finalized. CompEx will be held from January 11-14,

2008 and Vinod Verma will be the coordinator for CompEx
