Veeras Infotek turns distributor for FireScope

Chennai-based Veeras Infotek has turned distributor and will offer
FireScope's business service management solutions to India. This partnership
will allow FireScope's IT operations web portal, to complement Veeras portfolio
of business applications, infrastructure integration and information Integrity
solutions.

Said Krishna Ramadoss, Head-Information-Integration Division, Veeras Infotek,
“FireScope is a business service management appliance, which is aimed at giving
the real-time information about the health of a business. With this appliance,
anyone in the top management would be able to access complete information from
his desktop.”

On an observation of the products' resemblance to HP's Openview, Krishna
said, “The appliance is completely different from Openview. In HP's product one
can add different modules of the existing system, however real-time information
is available only with FireScope.”

Veeras has planned to market the solution directly, however they indicated an
involvement of channels at a later stage. “We would be installing the
applications on our own as of now, because we feel that the channels are not
equipped with the knowledge needed for installing and running the application,”
said Krishna.
