She is a commerce graduate and have done Masters in Business Administration with specialization in marketing.

The family background

Married for the last 9 years, Vinny is blessed with a 2 year old little daughter.

Working in Male-dominated field of IT

IT is a male-dominated field but Vinny believes that but as long as you know what you wish to achieve, your objectives are clear and you are well-versed in your field everyone is going to give you your fair share of respect.

Does a glass ceiling exist?

Although the glass ceiling metaphor has been around for decades as a way to refer to the difficulty women have in reaching top positions in their careers, top names in the business field have been debating whether it's really still there. "I have been fortunate enough and not come across a hurdle where I have to compromise on my abilities." says Vinny.

Advice to working women

"Working women should have their priorities set right keeping in mind their professional and personal commitments. If you are able to focus and maintain a balance then you will have a smooth sail. Otherwise at times it leads to you being stressed out. So give your best and try to maintain a balance which is definitely a key to your success," advises Vinny as she herself works hard to maintain this balance.

Hobbies

Not just work, Vinny strives to balance her personal life alongwith her professional commitments. Cooking is a great stress-buster for her and also she is very fond of watching all kind of movies.

Future plans

Vinny wants to see herself as a a full-time integrated marketing person since she finds marketing to be an unrestricted field where you can learn and explore new things every day. She wants to try to do bigger and better things in this field which she is truly passionate about.
