Said Sanjiv Bhavnani, MD, Visesh Infotecnics, "We realized the opportunity in offering training in mainframes when we were deploying a project for the Revenue Department in Thailand. Getting people trained on this technology was very difficult and qualified personnel would ask for very high salaries that most corporate houses could not afford." This is precisely why Visesh will first have a test run of these courses in Thailand and based on its success, it will then offer it to other countries as well.

Initially, the company plans to offer these training courses directly to corporates by April 2005. Later, it will offer these to the public as well two months after that, through training institutes. These courses will cover issues like how to work on the IBM Rational or Java mainframe and graduate from one technology to another seamlessly.
