WeP organizes "Tech Fantasy" in Delhi

In its bid to give their customers and partners a better look and feel of the
products, WeP Peripherals organized "Tech Fantasy" in Delhi. The
company will be organizing the same event in Kolkata, Jaipur, Kanpur, Goa, and
Chennai as well. At the Delhi event, WeP received orders from Delhi based JK
Printers, Pulse Computers and Microage Computers for many of its printer and UPS
products. Other products showcased at the show were laser printers, LMP, DMP
retail printer, UPS and consumables.

'Tech Fantasy' apart, WeP will also be organizing a number of road shows as
part of its marketing strategy.

Talking about this initiative, Sanjay Verma, Channel Head, WeP stated that
the motive behind organizing the even was to inform the end users and channel
partners about the features of the various products and provide them with expert
advice. "We are basically looking at increasing our volume sales and
keeping the same in mind, WeP will be holding two tech fantasies every month.
The company also introduced green toner concept at the event.

In addition to this the company has also initiated a number of schemes for
the channel partners, which were announced at the vent. Talking about the same
Verma stated, "We have a scheme called the 'JFM Dhamaka' under which we
plan to give rebate to the partners who sell our printer products that include
DMP, WLL and consumables. The partner selling the maximum number of products
enjoys maximum rebates and discounts from the company's end."

Among the various products showcased by the company, was the UPS, which comes
with a double conversion booster technology, a patent technology of WeP. The
model has been launched in Delhi and Chandigarh and will be shortly introduced
in other parts of the country.

WeP is also planning to target small shop owners including grocers, Kirana
shops and the retail segment for their retail printers/billing machines.
Elaborating on the same, Verma added, "These billing machines will give
small shop owners the ability to deliver with much greater speed and does not
require them to maintain a computer operator for the same. Its small size is an
added advantage." The billing machines come with a provision to add vat,
tax and other discounts.
