Wipro desktop with Intel Prescott

Wipro Infotech launched its Super Genius 800 GX-P, which incorporates Intel’s
P4 processor with Hyper Threading (HT) technology on high volume 90 nanometer
manufacturing technology called Prescott.

Loaded with Microsoft Windows XP Professional or Home Edition, the machine
has a cache advance transfer of 512KB L2 cache on processors higher than 2.0Ghz.
It supports two 184-pin unbuffered DIMM with a maximum memory size of 2GB DDR
333/400 SDRAM. The hard disk is 40GB DMA IDE HDD, while accepting 60/80GB with
5400/7200 rpm as well as 60/80GB serial ATA HDD.

The desktop comes with a 1.44MB floppy disk and Video Integrated Extreme
Graphics 2 with support for AGP 8X card (add-on card). The machine is priced at
Rs 37,000.
