WeP has tied up with Huawei Technologies of China for sourcing the high-end

products like switches and routers. These will be sold under the joint name of

WeP-Huawei brand. However, low-end products like NICs and print servers are

being sourced from Taiwan and will be sold under the WeP brand. In about six

months, the company will roll out modems too.

According to company sources, the products are competitively priced and high

on quality and features. WeP will be using its existing channel and is looking

for systems integrators to address the SME segment. The company already has a

network of 170 SIs throughout the country. WeP will be providing complete

support to its partners in terms of training and offering certification to

engineers.

WeP expects networking products to contribute about 15 percent to its total

revenue in three years’ time.
