Wipro ePeripherals rolls out new UPS models

Wipro ePeripherals has launched two new models of UPSs:

eMerge UPS 1000 and UPS 1000e. Both products are line interactive 1kVA UPSs. The

eMerge UPS 1000 provides 20 minutes backup whereas the 1000e UPS has a provision

to extend the backup time by adding additional eMerge 1000e backup extender.

The eMerge UPS 1000 and 1000e caters to the requirements of

2-3 PCs along with printers and accessories like a modem or a scanner. It also

comes with ‘Cyberguard’ for modem protection.

This feature ensures that eMerge UPSs protect the systems

from power surges through telephone lines. The sleep mode feature prevents

discharge of batteries when no load is connected, ensuring that the battery

lasts longer.

The new UPS is also bundled with ‘eMergemon’, a power

management software. The software also enables a UPS monitoring screen on the

PC, which allows one to access a variety of information on the UPS at the click

of a mouse.
