Wipro’s FullStride Cloud teams up with Pure Storage for sustainable technology

Wipro Limited has revealed its partnership between Wipro FullStride Cloud and Pure Storage, a data storage solutions provider enterprise. This alliance aims to propel clients to leverage the potential of sustainable technology. The primary objective is to equip customers with innovative strategies that will enable them to significantly reduce their data center's environmental impact; fostering a greener and more sustainable approach to data management.

Drawing upon their expertise in sustainability and technology, Wipro and Pure Storage would integrate proven sustainable technology practices into clients' technology infrastructure. This transformative initiative entails the implementation of improvements, guided by global industry standards, to enhance the overall data center footprint, minimize direct carbon emissions in data storage systems, and boost power efficiency. Through this collaborative effort, clients will witness significant advancements in their eco-friendly data management practices, aligning their operations with environmentally responsible principles.

An additional impact priority for the partnership will be around e-waste reduction. Instead of following the traditional method of replacing entire systems during hardware upgrades, the focus will be on continually upgrading an array of components. This approach promotes resource efficiency and contributes to a circular economy by extending the lifecycle of technology assets.
