World Phone's corporate VoIP solutions makes calling abroad cheap

World Phone Internet Services, an Indian category 'A' Internet Services Provider (ISP), has announced its corporate VoIP package—World Phone Diamond, to allow the customers to place unlimited calls to US and Canada for only Rs 3,995 per month.

It is targeting corporate customers, call centers and other BPO operations with its new VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) service, which provide the customer with a US phone number, a US area code of his choice, free unlimited inbound calls, voice mail, caller-id, call-waiting and call-forwarding to any world phone or US number. 

World Phone has also introduced another plan—World Phone Silver, which offers 500 minutes of call time to USA and Canada for a monthly subscription of Rs 1,495. Calls are charged at the rate of Rs 3.50 per minute thereafter. 

World Phone Diamond and World Phone Silver will initially be available to corporate and individual customers in cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad. World Phone intends to expand the services to smaller cities and towns later on.

With World Phone's new offering, the customers need not install, invest and maintain a VOIP infrastructure of their own. For availing the service, a user just needs to have a Motorola VT 1005 IP phone, which can also be procured from World Phone at Rs 5,000 and this IP phone can be directly plugged into an office's local computer network. The calls are routed through the customer's ISP and utilize customer's existing bandwidth. For World Phone's corporate services, the minimum Internet speed should be at least 30 Kbps.
