Xerox intros Phaser 6180 color MFD

New Delhi : Xerox India
announced the launch of Phaser 6180MFP color multifunction printer, with
copying, scanning and faxing options. The Xerox Phaser 6180's print speed is
20ppm in full color and black and white prints at up to a 31ppm, with a 400 MHz
processor and 348MB of memory (expandable to 1,408MB). It is available to the
Indian consumer at Rs 1,34,395 (Xerox Phaser 6180 MFP N) and Rs 1,51,034
(6180MFP DN).

The printer comes with a
resolution of 600 x 600 x 4 dpi and delivers 16 shades of color per pixel.

It has a scan speed of up to
seven color or 20 black-and-white scans per minute. With walk-up fax and LAN fax
(fax from the print PCL driver) it delivers up to 400 x 400 dpi resolution,
includes JBIG compression technology.

The device comes with
professional layout functions like N-up, posters, booklet and ID card copy
(6180MFP). Multiple connectivity choices, such as Ethernet, USB, parallel and
optional wireless, provide the flexibility to support diverse workgroups. Plus,
the available multi-protocol network card, which supports DDNS, IPP, WINS, SSL/HTTP
and IPv6, ensures that private data stays secure in any network environment.
