Yogesh Agarwal is new KCDA President

As part of its annual exercise-Kanpur Computer Dealer Association (KCDA) has unanimously elected Yogesh Agarwal of Kanpur-based Aryan Computers as its President for this year. Other elected executive body members of the association are VP-Ravi Pandey of Sun Corporation, General Secretary-Opendra Yadav of Swift Infosystems, Secretary-Nitin Rathore of Sapphire Technologies and Treasurer-Atul Seth of World Line systems.

Last year´s President, Arun Bhargava from Techno Serva said the association was instrumental in dissolving issues with distributors. It made sure that healthy environment prevailed in the channel community of the region.

"We had a big problem with cheques being bounced quite often. The association successfully dealt with this issue and now these activities have stopped because of our push. Overall we have been able to create ethical work culture for the market. Moving forward, this will continue to be a focus area for the association," he added.

Emphasizing the importance of channel interaction, Yogesh Agarwal said that proper interaction between the regional channel community is one of the focus areas for the association in the coming months. "A lot of issues get dissolved when we interact with the positive frame of mind. We want to create an atmosphere for channel players to increase their profitability," he added.

With close to 130 members, KCDA is one of most active associations in the state of UP. "Keeping a tab on the developments with association can be a problem and to address this, we are putting our own website www.kcda.net. This website will have current information about the activities of the association and we will also use this as a way to alert channel community from defaulters in the market," he explained.
