Right from March 2020, Just before Lockdown was announced some were ready and prepared with their entire team to work from home with good connectivity. Most of them developed a system and process to manage most of their activity with minimal staff without getting business affected even a bit. This was used by most as an opportunity to improve the system and processes of sales, HR and other aspects of the business.

A very surprising fact is digitisation was a buzzword but was not even implemented by much big-time organisation, which finally they adopted during and after lockdown up to some extent.

For many companies prioritized employee well-being by designing and implementing COVID policy with enough empathy. New challenges certainly create new opportunities, and many of us learned to generate an alternate source of income.

On the personal front, panelists used previous as well as current lockdown period to develop a habit like reading books, a habit of which they left after college days as getting into hectic business life. Some focused on fitness and lost weight, whereas some could set their hands in the kitchen and became the expert cook.

On a positive note, most of us realised minimalism in personal life is the key to learning from Pandemic.

Certainly, the pandemic has changed the mindset of not only IT Fraternity but the entire trade, and it has thrown an important question which most of us does not have an answer to is…
