You need to be head strong and finally all that matters is the perseverance. As it rightly said by Paulo Coelho in Alchemist – “When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”

Educational Background

I did my schooling from Mount Carmel School, Chandigarh. I had (and in-fact have :)) a love affair with Maths and that made me crack IIT. I went to IIT Roorkee to pursue B.Tech.& it was at Roorkee that I developed keen interest in entrepreneurship – thanks to an amazing friend circle that I developed there.

Post my bachelors, I spent nearly 3 years working in the start-up and investment ecosystem, before deciding to get some international exposure. Gladly, I was one of the youngest candidates to be selected for an MBA at INSEAD. During my MBA, I decided that the next step is to get back to India & give wings to my dreams

Family Background

Born in Chandigarh, my father hails from Haryana and mother from Punjab. I have grown up spending time in both the cultures. My mother works in the healthcare department of Punjab Govt. Right from childhood, I saw her helping patients and traveling to villages to help people live a better life.

My inclination towards the healthcare sector started right from a very young age when I saw a lot of the health problems that the doctors solve could be just avoided by living a healthy lifestyle. Hence, FitCircle has a lot more focus on prevention, health and fitness

Does a Glass ceiling exist?

Even if does, you have all the power to break it so no point in even thinking about it.

Hobbies

I am a professionally trained dancer. Have learnt at Shiamik Davar and at Attakkalari Center for Movement Arts. Have also choreographed a couple of stage performances in India. For me, it’s one of the best ways to de-stress.
