Elaborating on the tie-up, Madhukar apprised, "RIL is one of the biggest distribution networks across the country for IT and non-IT products. We strongly feel that our association would be the best mutually beneficial business relationship for both of us."

Anand Chakravarthy,VP, Redington India, expressed his view on the new partnership and mentioned, "ZyXEL presence in Indian market is surging like anything. With SMB segment in India showing lots of promise for growth, addition of ZyXEL will help us address the channel community serving this segment in a better way. ZyXEL products shall improve our portfolio and add more value to our offerings to the huge channel community including system integrators, reseller, channel partners, online store and LFRs which we cater to. It'll give us a definite edge over the rest of the NDs in the country on the product offering side. "

Sanket Kulkarni, who is recently appointed as the new head for Channel Sales for ZyXEL said, "The current market is expanding very fast and it's expected that the near future will unleash some great business opportunities. Hence it is indispensable for us to expand businesses without a strong channel presence. Redington is one of the leading IT distribution players in India and maintains a huge network of multiple branches across the country. It's strong sales support will certainly add value to our business and boost ZyXEL growth in India"
