CtrlS Datacenters Ltd., a major name in Asia's data center arena, is on the verge of inaugurating a new data center in Gujarat. The upcoming data center, Gandhinagar1, is strategically positioned within the Gujarat International Finance Tech (GIFT) City. This expansion underscores CtrlS's commitment to bolstering its infrastructure and services, catering to the growing demand for robust data solutions in the region. The Gandhinagar1 facility is poised to contribute significantly to the technological ecosystem, aligning with CtrlS's mission to provide state-of-the-art data center solutions in key markets across Asia.

CtrlS revealed on a business networking platform that the groundbreaking ceremony for the facility is scheduled to occur in the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupen Patel on December 22.

It said, “22nd December 2023 will mark an extraordinary milestone in our journey,” adding, “We are all set to celebrate tech innovation and honour Gujarat’s legacy in technology.”

The company has yet to disclose information regarding the data center's capacity or any other details.

CtrlS, with existing hyperscale facilities in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, NOIDA, and Kolkata, is expanding its footprint with two upcoming hyperscale facilities in Chennai. The strategic investment reflects CtrlS's robust growth strategy, positioning it as a key player in the data center landscape. The additional facilities underscore its commitment to providing state-of-the-art infrastructure, meeting the increasing demand for advanced data solutions across diverse regions in India.

Furthermore, the company operates Edge data centers in Lucknow and Patna, with recently disclosed intentions to construct a 10 MW facility in Uttarakhand.
