How are the smaller businesses in non-metro cities responding to this cloud technology?

Manoj Dhanda - The rapid adoption of cloud technology by businesses of all sizes has been one of the most notable trends in the tech industry in the last year. However, while larger businesses in major metropolitan areas have been quick to embrace the cloud, smaller businesses in non-metro cities have been somewhat slower to make the transition.

There are a number of factors that have contributed to this slower adoption rate among smaller businesses in non-metro areas. One of the biggest challenges has been simply getting access to reliable high-speed internet service, which is often unavailable or prohibitively expensive in rural areas. Additionally, many small business owners in these areas are simply not as familiar with cloud technology and its potential benefits.

Despite these challenges, there are signs that smaller businesses in non-metro cities are starting to catch up to their counterparts in larger metropolitan areas when it comes to cloud adoption. A growing number of companies are now offering high-speed internet services in rural areas, and as more business owners become aware of the potential benefits of cloud technology, they are increasingly making the switch. As a result, we expect to see the gap between small businesses in non-metro and metro areas continue to close in the coming years. We are excited to see tier 2 and tier 3 cities proving to be growth engines in India.

What are the new technologies evolving in this field?

Manoj Dhanda - This sector is evolving rapidly. We are always the first to adopt new technologies. Currently, with serverless computing, the trend for pay-as-you-go and pay-for-use computing models picked up addressing the majority of software burden. This function-as-service model made the cloud computing environment run faster and more efficiently. Docker and Kubernetes also took container popularity to the next level in terms of adoption.
