What is that one thing that you would like to change in yourself?

My short temper. I am working on it by doing Yoga and Pranayams regularly.

If you were reborn, who would you like to be born as and why?

I would like to be born as myself once again so that some of the mistakes I made in this life can be avoided in the next life. I would like to see that without those mistakes what shape my new life would take.

Memorable event of your life?

In 2001, I was one of the 12 IT professionals from India selected by the British Council for The Chevening Advanced Management Program at ASCI, Hyderabad & Manchester Business School, Manchester, UK. This was a fully paid scholarship.

Most embarrassing moment?

In an IT conference in Agra, I was given a room to be shared with another IT dealer from Chennai. But when I entered the room, I found that it was a female dealer. Thankfully it was taken care of immediately.

Where do you see yourself 5 years down the line?

Working harder, taking my company to new heights and at the same time balancing well between my personal and business life.

Your idol in life? Why do you consider him as your idol?

Azim Premji of Wipro. He has successfully grown Wipro from a local Indian company to one of the most respected organizations in the world. He has the foresight to spot new businesses and enter them at the right time. He has also nurtured employees and some of the best brains in the Indian IT industry are there, thanks to Wipro.

Five things you cannot live without?

My smartphone, ipod, cycle, running shoes, and family.

Your advice to the upcoming entrepreneurs?

Any new business takes 3-4 years to get a foothold. Don't look for quick gains. Also ethics and integrity in the business goes a long way.

The best compliment you have ever received?

I have recently lost around 20 kgs due to exercise and diet control and I am getting compliments everyday. .

BMW 7 Series at the price of a Tata Nano.

What's your success mantra?

Enjoy whatever you do. Infuse fun in your job. Every day when you get up you should look forward to your work/day.

What are your hobbies?

Cycling, running, playing squash, gym, watching good English movies.

What did you do with your first pay check?

Don't remember but I think I gave it to my parents. Did not spend it.

If not in the IT industry, where you would have been and why?

I think I would have been in the entertainment business, more specifically into comedy as I enjoy meeting people and making them laugh.
