Microsoft assigns Aparna Gupta as Global Delivery Center Leader

Microsoft has named Aparna Gupta as the leader of the Global Delivery Center (GDC) within the Industry Solutions Delivery and the broader Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) organization. In her new capacity, Aparna will drive customer innovation and delivery excellence, and propel cloud growth with top-tier talent, industry expertise, and collaboration within the partner ecosystem.

Founded in Hyderabad in 2005, the Global Delivery Center (GDC), the delivery arm of Industry Solutions Delivery, has expanded to include two additional locations - Bangalore and Noida - establishing a global footprint. This center collaborates with architects, consultants, and project managers to provide top-notch delivery solutions globally.

Aparna Gupta, the newly appointed GDC leader, will collaborate closely with the team to further assist customers in their digital transformation journey, ensuring the continued delivery of exceptional services across locations and reinforcing the center's pivotal role in facilitating clients' evolving technological needs.

The Global Delivery Center (GDC) comprises four Centers of Excellence (CoE) specializing in app innovation, Data & AI, Infra and security, and Business Applications. Augmented by functions such as Partner and Delivery Management and Adoption Management, these CoEs collectively form a robust foundation of unparalleled technical expertise and streamlined delivery management.

This amalgamation enables GDC to offer transformative solutions to customers globally, reflecting a commitment to excellence in diverse domains and showcasing a comprehensive approach to addressing the evolving needs of clients across various industries.

Aparna became part of Microsoft six years ago, assuming the role of India lead for Commercial Software Engineering (CSE), now known as ISE. Throughout this period, she has significantly influenced the business, with notable achievements including the creation of the Customer Success Unit (CSU) as a novel segment within MCAPS India.

Aparna has fostered a robust culture of consumption, promoting both team and business success within the Microsoft Cloud. Additionally, she has been a vocal champion for diversity and inclusion, taking on the role of Executive Sponsor for the Women’s ERG Charter and actively cultivating a diverse team. In her most recent position, Aparna served as the Customer Success Leader in the India and South Asia areas, further demonstrating her commitment to driving excellence and inclusivity across various facets of her professional endeavors.
