Introduced in March, Copilot, an innovative AI-powered tool, has rapidly found its place within the Microsoft 365 enterprise ecosystem. Initially embraced by professionals confined to their desks, Copilot swiftly became an indispensable aid in generating textual content for PowerPoint presentations.

In a recent development, Microsoft has taken a step further by unveiling Windows Copilot, marking a significant expansion of its capabilities. This new iteration has entered a preview phase, allowing users to gain early access and experience its potential firsthand. The deployment of this version to Windows Insiders, specifically those in the Beta channel, is being meticulously orchestrated through a controlled feature rollout.

Anticipating the future trajectory of this technology, Microsoft has confirmed its commitment to enhancing Copilot's capabilities through subsequent updates. These updates are poised to introduce a range of additional features, thereby enriching the AI-driven experience even further.

For those privileged to be part of the Beta channel and equipped with the latest beta version, the path to harnessing this version has been paved. A new dedicated Copilot button awaits, poised to be clicked, or the convenience of the Win + C shortcut can be employed to initiate the launch of Windows Copilot. This auspicious glimpse into the capabilities of Copilot on the Windows platform holds the promise of revolutionizing productivity and creativity for a wider array of users.

The Windows Copilot emerges as a convenient sidebar, elegantly anchored to the right-hand side of the screen. As emphasized by the company, this strategic positioning prevents any encroachment upon existing desktop elements, ensuring a seamless coexistence with your active application windows. This thoughtful design enables users to effortlessly engage with it whenever the need arises, without any hindrance or interruption.
