Ninad Karpe to lead CA India

Computer Associates International has appointed Ninad Karpe as MD of CA India. Ninad will head CA India´s sales, marketing and technical organizations and report to Piti Pramotedham, MD - Asia South. CA India has offices in Mumbai, New Delhi and Bangalore with close to 60 employees.

Ninad Karpe joins CA from CA Satyam ASP (C&S), a joint venture between CA and Satyam Computer Services where he was the CEO. Prior to being in C&S, he was Executive Director of CA India. 

"We are delighted to welcome Ninad back to CA India after he has built an extremely successful business in C&S," says Pramotedham. "In assuming this responsibility, Ninad will expand the adoption of CA technology not only through our direct sales teams but through broadening and strengthening our strategic partnerships in India."

In addition to being MD of CA India, Karpe will continue to be CEO of C&S. Karpe has been associated with the company since its inception in the country. He has held numerous management responsibilities in it including setting up offices in India, managing marketing, PR, technical services, HR, operations and finance. Before taking up a career with CA, Karpe specialized in consultancy for companies seeking to invest in India.
