A most memorable event of my life: I would like to make each day as memorable as possible, some of the memorable events include conducting the 60th and 70th birthdays of my parents, my marriage, and the birth of both my kids.
Idol in life: Many of them, I don't believe in one Idol. I would like to learn from each and every one. Early days when I started my career Jack Welch was a person I really looked up to, his videos and some of his quotes were very inspirational
With my first pay cheque: Half of the pay cheque was used for buying stuff for near and dear ones and the other half for partying with my friends
- Gen. Colin Powell was another person who influenced me through his style of management
- Warren Buffet for his vision and strategy
- Kishore Kumar for how he lived his life. He reminded me of how life needs to be lived fully and enjoyed
So not one, I try to find idols in whoever I meet/learn about and learn from them
Can't live without: People

The cause I care for: All causes are important. I am particularly passionate about children on the autistic spectrum. Through Qualitest Group CSR we work on a number of causes that impact animals, children, and nature and improve diversity (including women).
One thing I would like to change in myself: I have a tendency to look at the bigger picture when I solve problems and sometimes keep going after all related/connected problems that come into consideration – ending up trying to be a reformist. Sometimes this becomes a drain on energy and a major distraction.
5 years down the line I would be: Older and hopefully wiser!
If not in the IT industry, I would be: I would have been in the hospitality sector.
