Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is back at the top of the world's richest list, a position he is holding since the year 2013. Gates lost the position briefly yesterday to Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos after a jump in the company's stock before its second-quarter earnings.

Bezos, however, lost the position after Amazon's stock fell post the announcement of the company's second-quarter results. Wonder how the resume of the world's richest man looked like when he was just 18 years old? The time he was a freshman at Harvard University.

Years back, Seattle's Living Computer Museum had displayed the Gates' resume at an event. The CV dates back to 1974 when Gates was working with Paul Allen at Honeywell.

Other than giving personal details about Gates, the CV talks about his objective, which is given as 'system analyst or system programmer'.

Under the education heading, it reads, "Currently enrolled for first year at Harvard College. Courses taken include: Operating System Structure, Database Management, Compiler construction and Computer Graphics. Honors student and received A's in all the above."

In the experience field, the CV has: PDP-10, PDP-8, PDP-11, CDC-6400, Burroughs B-5500, Nova 1200, MCS-8008. Langauge used include FORTRAN, COBOL, ALGOL, BASIC, LISP, JOSS, and machine languages for most of the above computers.

The CV then goes to mention his work experience at TRW Systems Group: Systems programmer involved with file design and modifications to operating system, system library, and utilities (flow charting, coding, debugging, and documentation.) The project involved setting up a real-time system for power control around two large PDP-10's and three PDP-11's.

In the experience field, Gates has also written about the system he built with Paul Allen. The system, as per the CV, was made for traffic engineers to monitor traffic flow. It was based on Intel MCS-8008 microcomputer.
