Samsung unveils four new mobile phones

Samsung Electronics India Information and Telecommunication (SEIIT) introduced the latest additions to its portfolio of mobile

phones, with color displays, polyphonic ring tones, new features like a health monitoring

device, compact design and a trendy outlook. The four mobile phones launched today are first of its kind and are targeted at niche audiences. According

to the company, the phones are user friendly, feature packed and stylish.

The two color screen phones T200 and T500 are priced at Rs 24799 and Rs 26,999 respectively and the other phones A800

and A500 are priced at 14,999 and 17,999 respectively. "With the launch of the Samsung T-500, we are giving a whole new

dimension to women fashion and a superior feel with elegance and a health-monitoring

device. The T-200 with its sleek looks and automatic function is perfect for a busy professional. The A500 and A800 are designed to make them fit

beautifully into your lifestyle," says Brian Lee, Director, SEIIT. 

T-500 is designed specially for modern women. The T500 includes a health-monitoring device. It has a calorie counter and

fatness index, which even tells the user if one is overweight. The internal screen with 65,000

colours can also be used as a hand mirror. It is available in red, blue, pearl white, gold

colours. 

T-200 is the first flip open phone in the global market to be equipped with an automatic opening and closing function. The

phone has a dual TFT LCD color display with 16 polyphonic ring tones and the IRDA feature. It is

available in omega blue, metallic silver, metallic gold, pear white colours. 

A-500 is a slim phone that gives convenience and elegance to people accustomed to a hectic modern life and provides

16-poly ring tone. It is available in red, blue, silver, white colours. A-800 model has the largest memory space with an ability

to store up to 2000 numbers. It is available in pearl white, sand silver, metallic blue,

champaign gold colours.
