Seacom Solutions (India) Ltd, an IT company headquartered in Pune, has
entered the automobile retail segment with a new software for Piaggio Vehicles
Pvt Ltd (PVPL).
This application enables the automobile company to not only track their sales
and service, but also keep themsleves updated of the fierce competition.
Pre-sales activity can be managed professionally by evaluating actual footfalls
rather than just the number of people who visit the dealer. The dealer, and in
turn the company, can analyze what makes each client look at their particular
vehicle, their objective in buying it, whether it is an outright sale or a
purchase against a loan, and so on.

covering the business aspects of sales, services & spares, but the Dealer
Automation Solution will also help Piaggio to manage their nationwide dealer
network efficiently, and get real time updates on business information from

Since the solution is capable of working in an enterprise-wide mode, the
manufacturer will also know at any point of time how many inquiries each dealer
has pending, the number of vehicles sold, inventories, service vehicles and
spare part inventory.
