Today is an International Tea Day. Tea enthusiasts always like to drink tea but in winter tea is not less than any nectar. Even during the Covid-19 pandemic, people opted for Tea with ginger, honey and Tulsi to stay healthy and fit. MoHWF also advised people to drink Hot Tea.
Tea also plays an important role in business conversations. Any small, medium or large business conversations mostly start with a cup of tea. It is an integral part of the Indian business culture. IT Partners also prefer tea while having their business conversation.
On International Tea Day, here's what IT partners have to say about Tea and how it is a part of their business talks -
Julian Jhon, CEO, Zion Technologies says, "Tea is the integral part of Indian culture. Our initial stimulus comes from morning tea with two biscuits makes you feel like a king early in the morning. As its a much needed stimulus and can also be a great leveler. I remember a time in my early years there was this person who had placed a huge HP laptops order with us and would dilly dally the payment and ended up not paying at all and would make me sit for hours and give me big cups of tea, so imagine you can take a huge consignment of HP laptops for some cups of tea. So, tea can do wonders stimulate you and enchant you".
Manoj Khanna, Director, Compucover East says, "Tea is like a starter for all business conversations. It's like a first courtesy we extend to our counterparts".
However, some people don't prefer drinking tea and take coffee instead.
Vikas Oberoi, Proprietor, Roshni Enterprises says, "I have never taken tea in my life. I take coffee instead. But I make tea daily for my mother."
However, in India, especially in the Northern half, nothing can replace tea which itself has a great meaning in Hindi 'Chah' - meaning "desire" - as pointed out by Navin Gupta, MD, Computer Care - it's a colloquial variant of the standard Hindi word Chai, So, get your apron on and celebrate International Tea Day by making tea for your family.
