History/Journey of the Association

Ankleshwar Bharuch IT Association (ABITA) is founded in April 2003. It was started by a handful of members. Since then it has grown by leaps and bounds with a total of 98 members in 2023. Despite being a tier 2 city in Gujarat, Ankleshwar is famous as an industrial area. 

In the last 20 years association has faced a lot of issues related to the IT business. But, together they have overcome the problems so far. The association ensures that they reach members individually and listen to their problems.

ABITA has organized Expo in the past to increase the business reach of the members. They provided guidance for tax-related concerns.

Association activities in the last 6 months

• Recently ABITA has organized their annual general meeting (AGM) on 7th June. 
• In the month of May, they organized a meet-up of the ABITA members. 
• The association organized a fun-filled water park trip for the members along with their families.
• The committee organizes cricket tournaments, family tours, and much more for the rejuvenation of the association members. 
• In the next few months, they are going to organize an ABITA yatra. Where the elected committee would visit the members to understand their problems at the grassroots level.
